Plot summary – background story

John (temporary name) is a wolf, an urchin, in a small poor village distant from the land of the riches. One day he ventures off to the markets. To survive the life of struggle, John steals food for his family and village. A golden apple in a luxurious store catches John’s eye as he wanders the market. He attempts to steal this apple using his stealth skills and dexterity but fails as his eyes meet with another. He is in trance with the gaze of a princess, it is love at first sight but snaps out of it when he is caught by her royal guards. Locked away in a dungeon under the king’s castle, John escapes (again, using his stealth skills and dexterity) and searches for the princess. He finally finds the princess but also discovers she is leaving to the kingdom of squirrels to marry prince Jerry (temporary). John covertly snatches the princess with serenity and privately engages a conversation with her. He finds out her name which is Alicyn and further learns that she is being forced by her father to marry Jerry. Wicked and unlawful, John is driven by love to try and stop this marriage and steal Alicyn away from her burdens. However, John is unsuccessful and is exiled back to his village. Faraway, he spots smoke arising from the direction of his village. Wild flames spread onto homes, corpse of poor innocent wolves lay on the ground. John scurried to his home only to find his family slaughtered. The emblem of a squirrel reveal the culprits of this massacre. John is now driven by rage to avenge his family. With his skills, he travels to the squirrel kingdom to rescue Alicyn. Battling with squirrel barbarians to save her majesty, he ultimately faces Jerry. John and Jerry have a battle to death. John successfully defeats Jerry but is severely injured with a deep cut in the stomach. John lays on the ground, bleeding out. Alicyn rushes to John and stares deeply into John’s eyes as his body lays - lifeless.
